Your local planner data
Korano stores tasks, notes, projects, schedules, reminders, subtasks, preferences, your display name, and an optional profile photo in app-private storage on your device. It uses this data to show your planner and deliver reminders you choose. Recurring tasks create their next occurrence when completed.

Photos
Korano uses Android's photo picker and accesses only the photo you select. It copies that photo into private app storage for your avatar. You can replace or remove it in Settings. No broad photo-library access is requested.

Collection and sharing
This version has no account, cloud sync, advertising, tracking, analytics service, or Internet permission. Korano does not send your planner or profile data to the developer and does not sell or share it with advertising services. Android provides the photo picker, notification delivery, and system permission controls. Opening the developer website or your email application uses that external application's data practices. If you email support, information you choose to include is received through the email provider and used to respond; do not include sensitive planner data unnecessarily.

Notifications and permissions
Notification permission is optional. Exact alarm access enables precise reminders, and Android battery/background restrictions can affect delivery. Notifications may contain task text. Korano requests private lock-screen visibility; your device settings control what is displayed. Declining permissions does not prevent local task management.

Retention and deletion
Planner data stays on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall. Tasks can be deleted in the app; a profile photo can be removed in Settings. Android Settings > Apps > Korano > Storage > Clear storage removes the app's local planner and profile data. No account deletion is needed because no account exists. The app disables Android cloud backup and excludes its private data from device transfer. There is no cloud recovery after uninstall or clearing storage. Backups created by older versions are controlled by your device/backup provider. Support emails remain in the developer's email account for resolving your inquiry; email the support address to request deletion, subject to any necessary legal retention.

Security
Korano uses Android app-private storage and operating-system permissions. It does not provide an app password or additional database encryption. Protect your device with its screen lock and keep Android updated. Developer reminder diagnostics are not exposed in release builds.
